Aloha! Mana Massage Kaua`i Offers Outdoor or Indoor Massages in Kapa`a, HI

In 1980, when pondering what to name my business I knew I wanted a word that means Healing Energy. A friend suggested “Mana”, a word that was new to me back then but soon, I discovered it's meaning describes what it is that I recognize and deeply honor in my work. Mana, Hawaiian meaning: all power comes from within, all your Inner Power and Healing Energy.

After learning it was Sacred to Hawaiians, knowing the importance of asking permission to use it, I went to Serge Kahili King, PhD. a Kahuna and teacher living and teaching on Kaua`i. I had read his Kahuna Healing book and heard about his ongoing teachings, recognizing that he was well respected and authentic. After one of his events I approached him with my question, I described my experience of what transpires during my sessions with people and asked permission to name my business Mana Massage. He listened deeply as I spoke, quietly taking my question within his heart, and after a few moments looked me in the eyes answering “yes”. That moment Blessed the name of my business Mana Massage in genuine honoring of the Sacred Mana, the healing power within us All.

My 'work' for all the years I've been offering/practicing has been with the awareness that I simply assist in removing the blocks for those who come to me, so their inner healing power or Mana can flow more freely.
